Epic Church Family,
We’re all aware of the impact of the coronavirus (COVID 19) in our region, country and world. Our team has been in continual conversations about what this means for our church and how we can serve others during this time.
First things first, the mission of Jesus and His Church is NOT stopping! We’re going to continue to love God, love others and lead people in becoming all-in followers of Jesus. We will rise as a church during this time and continue to worship God, encourage each other, give faithfully and show the love of God to our neighbors and our community.
We will be using wisdom and following the guidelines that have been recommended so we can help stop the spread of the coronavirus. So, here are a few changes we’re making for now:
- Instead of gathering in person for our worship services, we will be streaming our worship services every Sunday @ 10:00am. Here is the link for EPIC CHURCH ONLINE – https://epicchurchbuffalo.online.church. We will also be streaming our worship services on our Facebook page.
- Beginning the week of April 6, we’ll be launching some new online, small groups so we can stay connected and encouraged by one another. The groups will meet via Zoom and you’ll be able to sign up for a small group on our website soon.
- If you know of someone who needs any assistance during this time, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. To find out about some other opportunities to serve during this time, check out the SERVE THE WORLD page.
- Worship Through Giving – to give to the mission of Epic Church so we can continue to serve others and model generosity, you can give online at https://epicchurchbuffalo.com/give.
As a church we want to remind you that we do not react out of fear, but we will respond with wisdom. We encourage you to pray in faith (not fear) for peace, healing, containment of the virus and wisdom for those who are working on solutions.
Jesus said in John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Psalm 46:1 reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
We are praying for you and we will get through this together!
