For the Future is a 3-year giving initiative to raise $1M for the future home of Epic Church. We are asking each person to pray about a financial commitment toward this initiative. It is our prayer that 100% of people who call Epic Church home would be a part of this initiative.
What is For The Future?
Epic Church Family,
I am grateful for all God has done since Epic Church started in 2013. 630 people have expressed faith in Jesus for the first time. 292 people have been baptized. Over 300 people serve on the Dream Team. God has built His Church as we’ve met in two movie theaters and a renovated auto center. I believe God will do even greater things in our future.
I also believe now is the time to prepare for our future. While our current building has been a blessing, it is a building we are leasing. Preparing for a future home that we own is an important next step. We don’t yet know where our future home might be. But we do know the first step is to be prepared so when God opens the next door, we can walk through it.
In these next pages, you will see what the For the Future initiative is all about. As we know, the church is not a building. For the Future is about impacting people and our mission to lead people to become all-in followers of Jesus. Thank you for your faithfulness and commitment to what God is doing through Epic Church!

“Being at Epic has helped me see the importance of having a community of believers. It has helped me delve more into God’s Word and helped me be more prayerful.”
“As soon as I turned to Jesus, he took my anxiety and gave me peace. The community at Epic is welcoming and helped me in my faith in Jesus.”

“During college , I wasn’t devoted to Jesus. I am now committed to my faith. I wouldn’t be here today without His guidance and blessings. Being a part of Epic has given me a family to grow together in my faith.”
“Being at Epic has encouraged me to be more active in my faith and pursue Jesus in all that I do.”

Giving FAQs
Should I re-direct my regular giving to the “For the Future” giving initiative?
The “For the Future” giving initiative is a sacrificial gift above our normal giving (tithes and offerings). This additional giving is outside Epic Church’s operating budget. Regular giving (tithes and offerings) support the operating budget, which funds day-to-day ministry.
Why can’t we just stay in our current building?
While our current building has been a blessing, it is a building we are leasing. Since we don’t own it, there is no long-term assurance of being able to stay in our current building. The purpose of this initiative is to make sure we’re not in a position of having to leave our current building before having a building that we own.
What is our goal for the “For the Future” giving initiative?
The goal for the “For the Future” initiative is $1 million. This will put us in a position to purchase a building that we own for our future.
How can I make a giving commitment?
Commitment Sunday is Sunday, October 26. You can also give your commitment in advance as God leads you.
What will happen if we exceed the $1 million initiative goal?
We will be able to use these funds for any renovations in our future home.
When will my giving commitment begin?
November 16, 2025, with the giving initiative lasting three years.
